Pricing Notification Letter - Installation Products

Dear Valued Customer/ Channel Partner,
The Electrification Products Division of ABB will be implementing the following product and price actions effective January 14, 2019:
► An increase ranging from 2-10% for the following Installation Products product lines:
- T&B® Fittings
- Steel City® Floor Boxes, Liquidtight & Rigid Fittings
- Ocal® PVC-Coated Rigid Conduit & Fittings
- Hazlux® Hazardous Location Lighting
- Red Dot® Weatherproof Products
- Carlon® Boxes, Enclosures, Fittings and Accessories
- Sta-Kon® and Catamount® Terminals
- Spec-Kon® Terminals
- PMA® | Adaptaflex® | Harnessflex® I Kopex-Ex® Flexible Cable Protection Systems
- Deltec® Cable Support
- Cable Glands
- Color-Keyed® Compression & Metric Lugs
- Jennings®
► An increase of 5% for the following Protection & Connection product lines related to:
- Breakers & Switches
- Motor Starting & Safety
► An increase of 3% for the following Building Products product lines related to:
- Door Entry System
- Pin & Sleeve
- Mini Circuit Breakers & Din-Rail Components
- Surge Prospective Devices (except PL 181 - Current Technologies - 2. 5%)
- Enclosures and Panel Boards
- Load Centers
While cost management is an ongoing practice which we support in part by our continuous capital investment in manufacturing facilities, external factors can hinder our best efforts. The drivers for this pricing action include higher costs from suppliers, transportation, healthcare and labor. This increase will apply to all stock pricing, special price agreements, and new project quotes. Current contractual agreements defining a fixed term price or price notification requirement will be respected.
New price files will be available on or before December 14, 2018.
Orders placed prior to January 14th for immediate delivery of stock items will be billed at current pricing. We reserve the right to limit order quantities based on historical purchasing patterns, we may not accept orders with future release dates and may reprice current orders that extend beyond the current quote dates.
